We build handcrafted custom pieces with precision and care. We can also incorporate metal work or glass into your design for a truly unique finish.

Owner and lead craftsman, Joseph Johnson
Joseph brings over 20 years of woodworking expertise, starting his career as a finish carpenter, honing his woodworking and carpentry skills to include fine furniture. He opened Kodama in 2017.
Joseph is known for his meticulous attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
Joseph personally oversees every project—when you choose Kodama, you’ll be working directly with him from start to finish.
Meet Noah, Joseph’s right hand man
Noah does it all—from crafting beautiful pieces out of wood to keeping the shop organized. He manages Kodama’s social media, supports the office, and always brings sharp wit (and impressive height) to the team. Kodama would truly be lost without him.

A Blue Heeler–Collie mix with boundless energy and a gentle nature, Daisy is always close by—keeping Joseph & Noah company, supervising projects and looking for anyone to give her belly rubs.
